Platforms

The platforms infopreneurs actually build on

A platform here is what hosts or structures the business · a course platform, a marketplace, a funnel builder, a site builder. Social networks are not on this list: they are where the traffic comes from, not where the offer lives.

A platform gets a page once we track at least 50 creators on it. Hotmart is the largest, with 33,619 creators across 38 countries.

What each of them is for

Hotmart33,619 creators · largest in Brazil

A marketplace for digital products with an affiliate network built into it. Brazilian, and by a wide margin the most common backend in Portuguese and Spanish speaking markets.

Skool12,425 creators · largest in United States

Paid communities with a course library and a gamified feed attached. Almost everything hosted on it is educational, which is why it reads unusually clean in this corpus.

Gumroad10,225 creators · largest in United States

A checkout you can put behind any file. Cheap enough to start on that it holds both real course businesses and a long tail of single-asset sellers.

Whop4,846 creators · largest in United States

A marketplace built around paid access · communities, signal groups, software licences · with the checkout and the access control in the same place.

WordPress1,680 creators · largest in United States

Not a course platform. A site builder, and the most common thing sitting under a custom domain when a creator runs their own funnel instead of renting one.

Systeme.io884 creators · largest in France

An all-in-one funnel builder with email and course hosting included. French, and priced low enough that it dominates the francophone side of this corpus.

Kajabi309 creators · largest in United States

An all-in-one course and membership platform aimed at established creators. The higher price point shows up as fewer accounts, each of them larger.

ClickFunnels253 creators · largest in United States

The funnel builder the category is named after. Pages, order bumps and upsells first, with the course itself treated as what happens after the sale.

Wix208 creators · largest in United States

A general site builder. It shows up when a creator sells from a site they put together themselves rather than from a course platform.

Shopify203 creators · largest in United States

A commerce platform rather than a course platform. Here it usually means the creator sells a physical product alongside the information one, or runs digital products through a store checkout.

Stan Store180 creators · largest in United States

A link-in-bio storefront. Built for creators selling small digital products straight off a social profile, so the offer is usually one click from the ad.

Webflow89 creators · largest in United States

A design-led site builder. Rare in this corpus, and when it does show up the funnel around it is normally custom built.

The platform is the easy half of the question

Knowing what someone hosts on tells you very little on its own. What the offer costs, how the funnel is built, which ads have been live long enough to be working · that is the half this page does not show.

Where these numbers come from

Each figure counts creators we have classified as infopreneurs and whose tech stack we detected by fingerprinting the pages their ads point at, never by asking them. A platform appears here once at least 50 creators run on it. Countries reflect where the creator operates, not where an ad was served. The table refreshes hourly.
